Über mich / about me

Ich bin Adrian Krebs, 49, Agronom, Chefredaktor bei der BauernZeitung und des Fachmagazins die grüne in Bern. Zuvor war ich Redaktor von Bio Aktuell und Teamleiter Kommunikation beim Forschungsinstitut für Biolandwirtschaft (FiBL) in Frick. Und noch länger zurück war ich 13 Jahre bei der NZZ als Redaktor, Reporter und Polizist für Agricultural Correctness tätig. Im Nebenamt bin ich Vorstandsmitglied der Schweizer Agrarjournalisten sowie des European Network of Agricultural Journalists ENAJ, zuvor auch der International Federation of Agricultural Journalists IFAJ (bis 2015).
Dieser Blog enthält meine persönlichen Meinungen, sie brauchen sich nicht mit denjenigen meines Arbeitgebers zu decken.

I’m Adrian Krebs, 49, editor in chief of the Swiss farmers weekly BauernZeitung and the magazine „die grüne„. Before I was an Editor at the Swiss Organic-Ag-Mag Bio Aktuell and media-spokesperson for the Swiss Research Institute for Organic Agriculture (FiBL).  And even further back I was an editor and reporter at the Swiss daily Neue Zürcher Zeitung, where I worked for 13 years, always trying to prevent unnecessary attacks against the farm sector.
In my  time off, I’m a member of the Swiss Federation of Agricultural Journalists and executive board and the European Network of Ag Journalists (ENAJ) management comittee, formerly I was a member of the IFAJs ExCom (until 2015).
